Whatnot changed how you pay commission
Four-week sales tiers took effect September 21. Sports and TCG start at 8% and bottom out at 6.5% above $500k. Premier Shop's commission discount ends November 1.

TikTok Shop's 6% is charged on shipping too
The referral fee includes what the buyer pays for shipping. Add a creator commission and a $50 card can cost more to sell than on Whatnot.

eBay Live caps commission at $100
On a $5,000 slab that is $245.30 in fees against $545.30 on Whatnot's standard tier. On an $8 single, the per-order fee decides it.

Referral fee of 6% (Trading Cards and Accessories) or 5% (Pre-Owned Collectible Trading Cards) on what the customer pays including shipping, excluding tax. 3% on any part over $10,000.
Unverified: TikTok's referral-fee page does not mention a payment-processing fee, so we charge none. TikTok does not say whether the $10,000 threshold includes buyer shipping; we include it.

6% commission on the full sale including shipping and tax, capped at $100 per item. Processing 2.9% plus $0.30 per order, with a $0.10 order fee on items $10 and under through December 31, 2026.
Unverified: eBay's page says '$0.10 per order fee on items priced $10 or less' through Dec 31, 2026. It does not say the $0.10 replaces the $0.30; we assume it does. Trade press reports eBay Live is invite only; eBay's pricing page does not say.
What the calculators don't know
- Promotional rates, such as Whatnot's new-seller 0% or limited category promos, replace the standard fee and aren't included.
- TikTok creator commission is the rate you set; we apply it to the card price (unverified, see above).
- For eBay we read "$10 or less" as the price of each item. The cap and the promo are per item, so set "Cards per order" for bundles.
- Show profit uses an average order. A show with a few very large sales near a cap, or many items under $10 on eBay, will differ from the average.
- Platform-funded discounts, refunds and label prices vary. Seller Hub or Seller Center shows the exact fee on every order.
